Just had my appt...I am sufficed. I am just about 1cm dilated. Doesn't really mean much, I know. I could go from 1-5 in a matter of hours...but it feels good to know that those contractions are doing their business. Plus, his head is down, not very low, but down and out.
The kicker...based on their scale I gained 6lbs in the past two weeks. Uh...OK...I don't think so. It is 5lbs off from my scale and my scale said I gained about 2lbs. And I will tell you, some if it is the swelling that I am starting to have (mainly in hands and a little in the feet...no official kankles yet), and the other is the food that I ate about 30 minutes before I went to my appt. Yup...I ate 2lbs of food ladies...haaa, kidding.
Other than that...things look good. I am measuring at 36 weeks, which is OK seeing I am 36w and 5 days. I am content in knowing things are good and progressing and going in the right direction. As of Sunday, I will be considered full term...so if I do go into labor they won't stop anything, just let it flow. I would be OK with that too!!
I know all this anxiousness will only prolong the inevitable though. Murphy's law states he will probably be late with how anxious I am...I guess the key is to leave something "not" done for the baby, that way he will come before I am prepared!! Oh well...all in His time (both God's and baby's).

Wow, I just cannot believe it's already about that time for you to give birth! Your pregnancy flew by (for me at least, I am sure not for you)! Best of luck during delivery and recovery, and please let us know when he makes his big debut! Thinking of you!
