Happy Birthday Miss J

Curious George was such a hit!! She was so happy on Monday. Couldn't wait for her friends to get there...and then they played and played. Then she opened presents...and her favorite was a baby doll that laughs and cries and drinks from a bottle and you can change her clothes and her diapers...right up Miss J's alley!! She is so in love with this doll, and when it laughs she stops, makes that face like "what was that...oh...she is laughing...would you look at that". She is in love. (and surprisingly not too annoying!!)

I was content with this past weekend. We got a LOT accomplished, but at the expense of me being a little exhausted and hurting a bit. Just can't do as much as I could when I wasn't 7 1/2 months pregnant!!

But we got the baby's room pretty much done! Got a closet organizer in the closet and some of his clothes in there already. Just have to move the changing table in there and then get into the "flow" of how everything is going to be.

I am a little anxious to get on with this delivery and baby thing...I know, it will be here before I know it, but I am getting excited. I just have to try to enjoy my last 6-weeks and be patient. At least I am not as miserable as I was with Miss J at this point. I had carpel tunnel at 6-weeks left and was hurting and just very uncomfortable. Course, I had gained over 50lbs, which made a difference too. But this time, still sitting at about 30lbs and feeling pretty good. Can't complain, except for those off days where he is sitting in such a position that I just want to push him around until he gets into a better position!!

I do have a ton of pictures to update, but I have a lot to do at work today. I have tomorrow off for a doc appt for Miss J and one for me. Miss J had a heart murmur when she was born that was caused by a small hole in her heart. They did all these tests and determined it was a VSD and that usually babies will grow out of it by the time they are 2 or 3yrs old. But even if they don't, it is something they can live with and normally doesn't cause any problems. Just have to be cautious with blood infections so if they go to the dentist for any kind of cleaning or dental work, she would have to be put on an antibiotic just in case. But many people live with this VSD, and she may need to be one of them. So we are going to get some tests to see how the hole is coming along and see if it is closing or closed, or not. Then I have my 2-week appt scheduled appt...and then I am not sure what we are going to do. It is supposed to be cold and rainy, so nothing outside, but maybe the library or something?

I may try to post tomorrow some more pictures. I cannot believe how much she is growing up. It is crazy!! And to think it is September, and she is 2 yrs old and that theoretically, next year, she could go to preschool!! What is that all about...what happened to my baby? Oh yeah, got another one coming along to fill that hole!!
