I know it is late in the day, but I wanted to write out some prayers (I have been praying on and off almost all day to myself) for the Natl Day o Prayer.
My Neighbor Joe, 85+ years old (not really sure his age) had surgery this morning to clear some of his arteries around his heart that were mostly all blocked. This man is such the opposite of an "old man". Always doing his own yard work, gardening, muddling around in his yard and house (not to mention he was never on any kind of meds...which usually by the time you are 60 you are on at least a half dozen!!). Just about a month ago he had a heart attack and was in the hospital for a few weeks, and has not been the same. He has been home for a couple weeks, but not himself. And we are praying his surgery was a success today and that he is back home with more energy and drive than before.
My other neighbors son Jeff, 28 years old had surgery today to try to remove a tube they have had in his lung and try to figure out why his lung deflated, for no apparent reason, just about a week ago. Not sure what the diagnosis will be, but praying for his healing and the knowledge of the doctors to determine.
My other, other neighbors sister just passed away on Monday. She had cancer throughout her body and they knew she would not last for more than a couple of weeks. Praying for her and the entire family for grace and peace and to feel the Lords hand on their shoulders.
My BFF cousins son, who is 9 months old, has been going through many series of heart surgeries over the past week. It is really sad to have to see such a helpless little child with all of these tubes hooked up to him. They are making progress, but still do not know the outcome. They are such strong believers and know that God has his hand in all of the surgeries and healing process...but still pray for God's miraculous healing for that little boy and his family.
My DH, who is struggling A LOT today with the fact that he is currently jobless, having a hard time trying to still get $$ from D, and stressing out about the number of things he has to do around his mother's house before my SIL wedding at the end of the month, and around our house. He has been a bit snippy today and I just pray that God soothes his restless spirit, re-guides his mind, and gives him guidance as to the next step and how to sort through his internal demons.
And to all or any of you that may be struggling with internal demons, marital issues, fertility issues, work struggles, challenging family/children, depression, or really just feeling "off" today. I pray for all of you and that God lifts you up to relieve any burden, stress, or anxiety you may be having and gives you a sense of peace even if for a moment.
I also pray for our Nation, president, presidential elects, government officials...any one that has a hand in the flow of our government and the decisions that have to be made in order to better serve our great country.
--------------------------
I do have a lot going on in my head, probably should have talked about it this morning, but something about even starting to write about it will most likely take page after page....but I will try to get some the things down tomorrow.
Peace and Love to you all!!

That sure is a lot of prayers to keep track of! I am sorry to hear about all those tough things going on in the lives of those around you. They are lucky to have you in their life and in your prayers! And thank you for the prayer for "any of you", I appreciated that very much! I pray that your DH finds peace and guidance soon, I know this has been a hard time for you both. You're in my prayers!
I will do my best to add ALL of those to my list ... I will be thinking of you!
I love this post! Great idea. You've inspired me to do a similar post!
