I took this from Brandy's blog because I thought it would be neat to compare and see what y'all think too. My u/s isn't for another 5-weeks or so...but this pregnancy is already so different. I kind of hope it is a boy, and lots of people have told me that is what they think...but time will only tell!!
It’s a boy if:
*You didn’t experience morning sickness in early pregnancy (I did, a small bit with both, nothing puking wise, just queasy)
*Your baby’s heart rate is less than 140 beats per minute
*You are carrying the extra weight out front (BP2 I seem to be, but I am getting thick too...I think it is too early to really tell)
*Your areolas have darkened considerably
*You are carrying low (the baby is still low...won't know until end of 2nd trimester)
*You are craving salty or sour foods
*You are craving protein — meats and cheese
*Your feet are colder than they were before pregnancy
*The hair on your legs has grown faster during pregnancy
*Your hands are very dry (they were actually drier with Miss J...not so much this time around)
*Your pillow faces north when you sleep (yup)
*Dad-to-be is gaining weight, right along with you (he did with Miss J and seems to be now too)
*Pregnancy has you looking better than ever (I don't look worse)
*Your urine is bright yellow in color (only at certain times of the day, not enough water or just ate a heavy meal or just took my prenatal)
*Your nose is spreading (???what???)
*You hang your wedding ring over your belly and it moves in circles (haven't tried this)
*You are having headaches
*You add your age at the time of conception and the number for the month you conceived and the sum is an even number
It’s a girl if:
*You had morning sickness early in pregnancy (I had a little queasiness with Miss J for a week or so...same thing with BP2 but lasted a couple of weeks...both at about 8 weeks)
*Your baby’s heart rate is at least 140 beats per minute (Miss J's heart rate was over 150 and BP2 has been about that too)
*You are carrying the weight in your hips and rear (gained a LOT in my butt and legs with Miss J, not so much this time but I also have not gained as much weight and have been working out...plus it is still early)
*Your left breast is larger than your right breast (YUP...with both pregnancies)
*Your hair develops red highlights
*You are carrying high (too early to tell)
*Your belly looks like a watermelon (can't really tell that...I am not "showing" that much)
*You are craving sweets (cookies and chocolate)
*You are craving fruit (citrus, and just eating a lot more in general, trying to keep my fiber up)
*You crave orange juice (need my small glass every morning)
*You don’t look quite as good as normal during pregnancy (this was not true with Miss J, and I don't think it is now either)
*You are moodier than usual during pregnancy (YUP...emotions all over the place)
*Your face breaks out more than usual (not really with either, a little more than before, but nothing that I would call a pizza face)
*You refuse to eat the heel of a loaf of bread
*Your breasts have really blossomed! (BP2 at like 5-weeks my tata's were HUGE...and still HUGE and still HURT!!)
*Your pillow faces south when you sleep
*Your urine is a dull yellow color (again, depends on what I eat)
*You hang your wedding ring over your belly and it moves from side to side
*You add your age at the time of conception and the number for the month you conceived and the sum is an odd number (33)
However my Chinese birth chart says it should be a boy...ok...anxiousness is setting in now!!

Actually I'm going to go with girl. You seem that you're a little heavier on that side but of course I was so even with both of my pregnancies (thus far anyway) that I couldn't guess for the life of me.
Can't wait to we hear all the wonderfulness that is your ultrasound in a few weeks!

Isn't the guessing game fun?! I didn't fit a lot of the things that are listed for boy...and you know how that turned out. I can't wait to find out the news, although I am guessing GIRL!

This is interesting to read! I fall in both categories! I am really hoping for a girl and the only thing that makes me think it could be a girl is the higher heart rate(156 beats.) Oh well I guess only time will tell.
Most of those came up as boy for me and I had a girl, so who knows! I can't wait to hear when you find out!
I'm gonna say a girl. Don't know. But I will be very anxious to hear the results from the ultrasound! :o) (I guessed a girl too with my friend and was right.)

I think having a boy and a girl would be neat....but I also think that having two little girls would be really sweet.
wow - I have lots from both categories as well, and this is girl #3... the thing that is most surprising is that I carry ALL in front, which is totally a boy, they say.... my birth chart said girl for all of mine.... who knows?? Can't wait to find out what yours is, though!! Fun to speculate, isn't it?

PS the 1st tiem my chinese chart was right on ... this time WRONG ... first time it has been wrong in 8 pregancies ... not mine of course I only have one child ... but 8 friends have had babies and it was dead on on the money!

I took that same test and the results at the time were inconclusive! However, two other gender predictor tests I did said boy. The only thing that was really true of me with the first one is that I'm carrying the extra weight out front. I had a hunch all along I was having a boy anyway. I'm going to say that you're having one too!
I am so with everyone else. I think girl! I had all of the "girl" signs with both of my boys! SO tricky! Even my birth chart said girl!
Well, that was fun to read!!! And, the nose spreading....yeah, my nose got bigger! :o)

I post on MBKimmy's blog and saw yours... I had ALL of the Symptoms listed for Boy and NONE for girl. I had a girl. :-) Congrats on whatever bundle of joy you are given!
I had things from both lists and I had a boy, so it's hard to say. I'm guessing a girl for some reason, but I've got my fingers crossed that it's a boy.
