Yes...that is all the weight I lost this past week. I guess I need to be happy, because I went in there feeling like I gained, if anything. I ate some chicken soup yesterday that must have had a lot of sodium in it so I think I was retaining water (I like those excuses).
I had a pretty good week though, in terms of eating. I was over on points a lot of days, but made up for it either through exercise (which I have been really on the ball with) or using the extra 35 points I have been given for the week. Never gone over on those. But sometimes I feel like I am still eating too much with those extra points. So I am trying to stick to just the daily points.
I have found my cravings for bread and sweets have really dropped. I don't know if it is just through discipline of my mind, or if the cravings have really stopped. That is nice, because I would just sit down and stuff 4, 5, 6 cookies in my mouth so fast that I wouldn't have time to think about it and stop myself and then just feel guilty after. I haven't had those desires lately. Good news!
So, I am destine to hit at least 3-lbs Wt. loss for next week. Then I will be on my target of 2lbs per week and on my way to my goal!! I have to say, I feel so good. I feel like I am making better food decisions, I am making the extra effort to work out more often...I just don't feel as lazy. It is a sigh of fresh breath for me...I have to say.
But, not to say I still wouldn't like a quicker fix! Diet pills or something...but I know that it is not as healthy, more expensive, and I most likely wouldn't keep the weight off as long. So, for now, I have to settle for patience. I know I can do it...

Congrats on at least losing something! I get excited for just a little weight loss..at least you're not gaining! And that's great that you're not craving sweets as much. I'm SO ready to get there. I just started eating healthy and trying to lose weight yesterday and most days I have a lot of sweets but I've had none the last 2 days and it's been tough. I know it's only been 2 days but it's still tough! I'm hoping if I hold out a few more days the cravings will stop!
Good luck on your goal for next week..I know you can do it!
good for you! It sounds like your doing great with WW so far.....just keep going and remember that this is a lifestyle change. Of course it is slower than diet pills or a quick fix, BUT you will be able to learn new habbits that will stay with you for life! :-)
Good job! A loss is a loss, and slow and steady is always a good way to go with weightloss. Learning to eat healthier will not only benefit you, but Miss J will pick up on those great habits as well!
Sounds like you're on the right track LP, congratulations - it can be so hard. I'm proud of you!
Remember...if you just started working out it will take a while for the pounds to start dropping off. Your body goes into a preserving mode where it tries to hold onto the fat before it eventually lets it go. You're doing it the right way and it will pay off. Last year, before I got pregnant, it took me 2 months to lose 10 pounds through diet and exercise but the way I felt everyday was just incredible. Keep up your hard work! :)
Congratulations on the loss! I know how freaking hard it can be just to lose 5 or 10 pounds - the toughest for me was sticking with it when I didn't lose as much as I thought I should. But Kristen's right, sticking to it is worth the feeling you'll have in the end!
Keep it up!:-)
Good for you! I know how you feel about wanting a quicker fix! I do to! But it is more important to me to stick with it and lose the weight for good. I have tried "quick fixes" and have gained back all the weight. I'm glad your sticking with it!!! I'm sure you'll do very well!
