He is just absolutely adorable...but still no name yet. It is early, we will probably have one today after we spend more time with him.
I had a fabulous labor/delivery. I was taking awhile to dilate, they had an epidural in and pitocin going, but still not dilated to 10. The baby's heart rate started to drop after each contraction (which isn't good), and I still wasn't dilating. My doctor was just a hair away from getting me going to a C-section. I started to cry because I really didn't want that...but whatever was going to be the best for baby. So she kept saying it over and over...and finally I asked if I could push. So, I started to push and he started to crown. They used a vacuum to help him out, she helped stretch my cervix just enough to get his head through...the rest is history!! No C-section. No stitches. Pushed for maybe 20/30 minutes.
Ahh...I am so glad everything went so well. And now we have such a blessing of a baby...his is so gorgeous!! I have already Bfed and he is eating like a champ (I forgot that it hurt a bit to nurse!!)
But, all is well, family is well, baby is healthy, mom is doing great!! Just need to get some sleep. We were here all night with only a couple hours of napping.
So, I am off to nap again while baby naps...then to pick a name!! Have a great rest of the week all!!

Aaaaahhhhhh! :o) That is awesome news!! I am sooo excited I'm tempted to call you to talk! LOL But I know you need your rest. I can't wait to chat with you to hear all the details of how all this happened so fast! Take care and I can't wait to see what name you decide on. :o)

And, if my sister DOES call...don't feel bad about ignoring the call! Hopefully she'll give you a few days AT LEAST before she's calling and talking your ear off! (I'm assuming youve had a phone conversation with her, and are well aware of her tendency to talk and talk, and talk, and talk, and TALK!!!!) :o)

OK, I must have been in lala land yesterday because I did not even realize that you posted until this morning. CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I am so glad he is here, he is healthy and you didn't have to have a C-section. Can't wait to see pics!

WOW! I guess I HAVE been out of the loop for a while! I took a blog break that I didn't even know I was taking...anywho....CONGRATS on the new little bundle!!!! I have A LOT of catching up to do (obviously!)....I'm so sorry my congrats came so late!!!!
