Not a bad weekend. I actually felt like I was able to spend some time with my DH and daughter. Even though Jos has another ear infection. Yeah, Friday in the AM the school called to say she woke up from her nap crying and couldn't calm down and then sounded really congested. She had a runny nose all week and coughing that sounded like Croup, so I asked them to keep an eye on her and call me if I needed to give her a breathing treatment (from when she had bronchiolitis a few months back). So when they called, I decided to go on my lunch break and called the nurse on the way there. She said they could get her in right away if I wanted to bring her...so, since I was on my lunch break, I thought I would take the opportunity. Her lungs were fine, she just had a beginnings of another ear infection...oh, and another tooth breaking through.
More anti-biotics. Good thing she loves the taste of bubble gum. But all weekend she seemed fine. Not too fussy, or irritated. She ate well, slept well, went down for her naps and bedtime REALLY well!! She was just fun to play with all weekend.
I went to get pictures take for her 9-month birthday. Didn't turn out as good as I had planned. But, you can read about that in my Health Blog I started today.
DH is totally fed up with his job. Friday night he ended up not getting home until 9:30 (they close at 8pm) and then the mentioned to him that they needed someone at the shop on Saturday morning at 6:45am. Yeah, and they mentioned this to him at 7pm Friday night...when HE was the ONLY one there. He tried to call his boss...no answer. So he took it upon himself to be responsible and be the one there. When he got there on Saturday, his boss and another tech were there too. OK...so did the owner think DH was not going to show up or something? What a waste...so he was able to come home early (3pm) on Saturday, but he started feeling a cold come on so he didn't do much but relax.
It is quite funny though. We say we are going to work on a letter to send out to our friends/family with some business cards to get his business going...but every night we come home and say we are going to do it...we are too tired and never get around to it. Can we say lazy??? But, that is the first step to getting his business off and going. Oh, and a website. I am still struggling with that.
Well, I am off to eat a healthy lunch and go for a walk. I keep telling myself to stay positive and happy and not turn into a negative overwhelmed LP today. Deep breaths...Deep breaths.

Sorry to hear about DH's job. It stinks when THEY don't like their job b/c it can make YOU miserable too. I hope that you get the chance to get his business rolling - that would be a great chance for you guys!
I'm going to have to check out your new blog once I get done here! :o) I'm sorry Miss J has another ear infection. And a new tooth? How many does that make now? It's so cute when they start getting a mouth full of teeth cause then you get toothy smiles instead of the gummy ones (which are just fine either way....as long as they are smiling at you, right?!). I also wanted to let you know that I finally got an invite to Platinum Rose's blog. I left a comment on her latest post letting her know that you were wanting an invite too so hopefully you will get something from her soon. I hope little Josie gets to feeling better. Ear aches are so painful sometimes!
I know how irritating it is when DH has a horrible job. Mine has a TERRIBLE job for 5 years until he was FINALLY able to get another one that is 10 times better. I'll keep my fingers crossed that his business gets up and going very soon so he can tell them to kiss his butt!
