No no, not me. But someone in our blogsphere is. Christina, the Patent Princess. I could not believe it when I read it. What is going to happen? Gosh, isn't this how everyone ended up leaving the Nest. Please, please don't say this is the beginning. It was hard venturing out from the Nest, then everyone going private...I don't want to lose you guys.
I will admit, that I went private on my baby girl's blog. After reading Christina's "reasons" it got me thinking. I may be a little more reserved with my pictures, I am still pretty reserved with the names and where we live and all that jazz. But then I thought about the blog I created for Jos. Yeah, that does not need to be public. Leave it to me, the one who is so private that I still go by LP (now LCP) to open up the door to my daughter's blog with pictures and a lot more information than I share in my own blog. Duhhh.
So, if I didn't send you an invite to Jos' blog, and you are interested in seeing more pictures, etc, let me know your email and I will send you an invite.
As for this blog going private...not sure yet. I have not had any problems, but I you never do know who is lurking. That has always been my concern. I am going to have to pray some more about it and see where the path leads. I feel like I have a good network of girls that I am in touch with and that I could give an invite too. As for the lurkers...hmmm...do I care, or is it neat to get a comment from an anonymous person (not that I do). Not sure.
I will update on the awesome weekend we had later...got to get back to work.

Oh no! I truly hope that I'm not starting a trend of everyone quitting blogging :( I would feel awful! Anyway, I will keep you posted about what I decide RE restarting with a private blog. Maybe you'll be receiving an invite soon...Hmmmmm...
I did get the invite to Miss J's blog! Thanks!
i'm a semi lurker who has recently started reading your blog. i'm totally legit though--ask christina and brittny and jenny s!! :)
Mrs. M? Ugh, yeah she's good!
It's hard to think that among these wonderful friends we've made that there could possibly be someone out there wanting to hurt or harm us, or the ones we love in some way. Christina leaving really hit me hard too. She was one of two blogs I first read on The Nest and the reason I started my own blog. For three years, I've visited her almost every day. We will all be sad, but hopefully this isn't a trend of things to come. We have a nice little community here, and I hope that remains. It is a good reminder though to be careful, always.
I want to be a cool kid!

i know what you mean about people leaving - the switch from the nest was a rough one and i hope another trend isnt starting either!
Christina leaving was sad to me too. I seriously hope that people don't start leaving either. (Which I kind of doubt cause there are some people out there seriously addicted to blogging! LOL) It is very sad to see our little community breaking up. :o( And thanks for automatically inviting me to Jos's blog! :p
I totally undrestand Christina leaving. I plan on sticking around for a long tiem though. Hopefully we will watch each others children grow up on here! It'll be great!
