Little Piggy

Not only me (I feel like I have been eating up a house lately), but my little one.

Our little Miss Piggy ate quite a lot yesterday. All of a sudden she is an eating machine.

Breakfast (about 7am):
  • 6oz bottle
  • oatmeal
  • apple/blueberries

Lunch (about 11:30):

  • 6oz bottle
  • oatmeal
  • apple/blueberries (again)....here is where it gets hairy...
  • spaghetti and meat sauce
  • green beans
  • bread stick (probably small)

Afternoon (about 4pm):

  • 6oz bottle
  • oatmeal
  • sweet potato's (snort snort)

Evening (about 6:30):

  • american cheese
  • apple pieces
  • 1/4 chicken breast

Then...get this, she goes on to drink another 6oz bottle before bed at 7:00.

Where is she getting this appetite from? I swear, she could have eaten more had I continued to feed her. Crazy...but good. I should not complain because she has been such a little peanut for so long. She is still in only 6-month clothes and she is almost 9 months old. If she continues to eat like this, I am sure she will hit the 9 month mark for clothes right on.

Now, I wish my meals were as little as hers...heck, take her meals and quadruple it...kidding. But I have been eating a lot, I am just hungry. And I have missed the gym the past few days, so that does not help. I need to get back on track. I would like to at least lose 5lbs by the 16th of June which is a wedding we are going to. I was trying slim fast in the AM's...but that just made me hungry so I would have the slim fast AND a muffin or bagel or something. So, now I am eating twice the amount I normally would. Gosh, I wish I could just hunker down and get real with food/exercise. What will it take?

Any way...hope you enjoyed the meal service...I will let you know what she ate today. She got pancakes at school today, with some sausage and bananas. Mmmm, I can hear her licking her lips now.

It sounds like she's going through a growth spurt :) You can lose those 5 pounds by June 16th..you have plenty of time! I've been eating really unhealthy lately too..well just ysterday and today but it makes me feel awful! I can't wait to have Cade so I can start exercising again! I need it desperately! Good luck on your weight loss!

she has to be going through a growth spurt with an appetite like that!!!
dont worry about those 5 pounds - small changes in your diet and excercise can make huge differences!

How cute! Don't fight it...I've got a 3 year old nephew who never eats and a 10 month one that will eat ANYTHING. The ones who eat are so much more fun. Maybe she'll get some cute chunky thighs out of it. :)

Wow what a piggy you have! You definately should be glad, better to have one that loves to eat than one that hates it! Lila is the same way- she eats & eats & eats lol We just give it to her :)

We also have a wedding on june 16 (they day before our anniversary) that I would love to lose a bit more weight for but it's so hard to get motivated. I find that now that Lila is more mobile & everything I spend more time playing with her & doing things so I tend to be more active in general.

It was great to hear you had a wonderful 1st Mother's Day! I hope you have a terrific weekend. :)
