I just have to do a quick post, because it is on my mind.
Let YOUR will be done...I find a lot of peace in these words for some reason.
My hubby just called and said he "had that feeling" about work again. That feeling of he might be getting let go/fired. Lately that feeling has not been true, as he has had that feeling for the past 6-months...but he is also pretty aware of that feeling because he has had more than his share of layoffs being in the auto industry he is in. Whatever the case...he dropped this on me at lunch time...and it just puts that weight in my gut that gets my mind wandering and worrying and wondering.
Then a bit later, I just had this peace come over me and I heard a whisper..."Let my will be done."
What is going to happen is going to happen. And if it is God's will to allow that to happen, then He has bigger plans for us, whatever they may be...He knows, not us.
Have a great weekend if I don't blog again soon!

It is so true. I know how stressful DH getting laid off is, but God does always have his plan. My husband thought he had the perfect job, then he got laid off. Now he has found something better, with less stress, more time at home and the place he was working for is doing terrible and treating employees horrible now. I will pray for you guys and who knows, maybe his feeling won't be right.
I will say a prayer and hope that everything turns out ok.
Don't you just love those calming moments when you know that God is in control and you actually have the courage to turn it over to Him to handle? :o) Such a refreshing feeling - and post! I hope and pray that DH really won't lose his job but I know that you're right, it will be alright because it's in His hands. Take care!
Isn't it the best feeling when you truly accept that God is in control? Then there is no need to worry or stress! Can't wait to see what's next for your family!
